Smriti Mandhana Joins Elite Company with All-Format Century
Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana achieved a historic milestone on Saturday, becoming the first Indian woman to score centuries in all three international formats of the game: Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
This remarkable feat was accomplished during the first T20I match between India Women and England Women at Trent Bridge. Mandhana played a dazzling innings, scoring 112 runs off just 62 balls.
Leading the team as captain, Mandhana set an example with an aggressive and controlled performance. Her innings included 15 fours and three sixes, propelling India to a formidable score of 210/5 in 20 overs – their highest T20I score against England.
